Regional Market Development Manager

Judicate West is seeking a Regional Market Development Manager with excellent communication skills, tenacity, an upbeat attitude, and strong attention to detail. You will be part of a team providing a range of services in the alternative dispute resolution profession. 

Skills & Qualifications: Legal market knowledge; closing, salesmanship and presentation skills; strong written and verbal communication; leadership and analytical skills, and professionalism. Candidate must be dedicated to learning a unique nuanced industry by participating in trainings, seminars, trade shows, educational opportunities and reading industry publications. Must maintain personal networks, participate in legal related professional organizations and have strong follow up techniques with all leads and prospects you meet or are referred to you. Applicants must have a strong knowledge of the local market and its competitive landscapes, along with a track record of success in legal services business development.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Establish new business sources and relationships including sitting Judges and independent neutrals. Develop, implement, review and report on the business development strategy and results for the Bay Area and Sacramento ensuring that the strategic objectives are well understood and executed. Promote and assist in practice development of all NorCal neutrals.

Work with consultants and marketing team to create a marketing theme or plan and establish a database of ads, mailers and promotional pieces increasing our visibility in Oakland, Sacramento and any other Northern California markets.

Join approved legal and charitable organizations and create strategic alliances with other legal service professionals to network and build new relationships.

Create CLE opportunities, programs and represent our culture and other key differentiators.

Work closely with the Oakland and Sacramento staff to ensure and promote client satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· At least 5 years of related work experience Legal or Alternative Dispute Resolution
and a minimum of 5 years BD/marketing experience

· Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities

· Ability to handle and maintain confidential information

· Ability to travel and work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours

· Ability to work independently and under own direction and initiative
